We are obsessed with supporting our care team-because when they feel valued and empowered, patients and caregivers get the care they deserve.<br><br><strong>Join the movement</strong> <br><br>We're looking to find other changemakers who are ready to join our movement. <br><br><strong>The Role: </strong><br><br>The Athena System Administrator will lead the configuration, optimization, and administration of Athenahealth which powers Rippl's clinical and operational infrastructure. This role will serve as a subject matter expert on Athena, ensuring seamless integration with internal and external platforms. The ideal candidate is a hands-on systems leader with strong EHR experience who can drive system performance, compliance, and cross-functional alignment in support of Rippl's mission to transform dementia care.<br><br><strong>Essential Functions: </strong><br><ul><li>Own the configuration, optimization, and day-to-day administration of Athenahealth, serving as the go-to expert for all system-related inquiries and issues.</li><li>Oversee Athena support tickets, ensuring timely resolution. </li><li>Manage role-based access, data governance, and HIPAA-compliant configurations to protect PHI and maintain regulatory compliance.</li><li>Collaborate with clinical, operations, and engineering stakeholders to tailor Athena workflows and templates to Rippl's care delivery model.</li><li>Develop and maintain documentation of system configurations, user permissions, workflows, and standard operating procedures.</li><li>Lead implementation of new Athena features and updates, ensuring minimal disruption to clinical operations and optimal use across care teams.</li><li>Identify and implement opportunities to streamline workflows using automation, AI tools, and system enhancements.</li><li>Ensure seamless integration between Athena and other core platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Zoom, Etc.), facilitating data flow and interoperability across systems.</li><li>Monitor system performance and usage, implementing proactive solutions to ensure high reliability, uptime, and user satisfaction.</li><li>Lead EHR training and onboarding for new users, and provide ongoing support to drive adoption and user proficiency.</li><li>Stay up to date on Athena capabilities, regulatory changes, and EHR best practices to keep Rippl's systems current and high-performing.</li></ul><br><strong>Qualifications:</strong><br><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Health Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field required.</li><li>At least 5 years of experience managing EHR systems, with direct experience in Athenahealth strongly preferred.</li><li>Strong understanding of clinical workflows, health data management, and system interoperability.</li><li>Experience integrating Athena with tools like Salesforce, telehealth platforms, or analytics dashboards.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to manage system configurations, templates, custom fields, and user roles within a healthcare environment.</li><li>Familiarity with HIPAA, healthcare IT compliance standards, and data governance best practices.</li><li>Skilled in troubleshooting system issues, managing vendor relationships, and delivering user training and support.</li><li>Excellent communication and project management skills, with a collaborative mindset and ability to work across clinical and technical teams.</li></ul><br><strong>What's in it for you </strong><br><ul><li>Development, mentoring and training programs designed to help you chart your dream career and make sure you are learning everything you need to know as you gain more responsibility </li><li>Fast growth company with opportunities to take on more responsibility or develop into new roles</li><li>Flexible work environment and the opportunity to work from home</li><li>Competitive compensation </li><li>401(k) plan with a company contribution </li><li>Equity in the form of stock options</li><li>Medical, Dental and Vision coverage for you and your family </li><li>Life insurance and Disability</li><li>Remote Work stipend</li><li>Generous Paid Time Off </li></ul><br><strong>Pay Range Details</strong><br><br>The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.
