This is a temporary 2-month role supporting our warehouse operations. That’s where you come in.<br><br><strong>The Challenge to Solve<br><br></strong>Buying affordable, high quality supplies is one of the biggest challenges facing local independent restaurants today; they pay higher prices than franchises and often must use outdated systems to place & receive their orders. Slice’s "The Goods" seeks to solve this challenge by empowering local restaurant owners to order high-quality supplies at unmatched prices, on demand, in just a few clicks.<br><br><strong>The Role<br><br></strong>Your day will be fast-paced and will include the following tasks:<br><br><ul><li>Supporting daily warehouse operations including picking, packing, loading and unloading, and palletizing</li><li>Learning to operate and supporting high-volume digital printers for corrugated cardboard (training provided!)</li><li>Delivering supplies (ex: pizza boxes, paper bags, plastic cutlery kits) to our customers via Slice delivery vans as needed</li><li>Maintaining a positive & professional attitude when interacting with customers</li><li>Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse and production environment<br><br></li></ul>Salary Range: $22 per hour<br><br><em>The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.<br><br></em><strong>The Winning Recipe<br><br></strong><strong>These Are The Core Competencies This Role Calls For<br><br></strong><ul><li>1-2 years of delivery, warehouse, production, manufacturing, or other relevant experience</li><li>Valid US Driver's License + clean driving record </li><li>Familiarity with computers or mechanical equipment</li><li>Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members & customers </li><li>Physically capable of lifting ~50 lbs, and engaging in physical work safely for the duration of the shift; this includes standing, crouching, bending & reaching</li><li>Reliable attendance on working days <br><br></li></ul><strong>The Hiring Process<br><br></strong>Here’s what we expect the hiring process for this role to be, should all go well with your candidacy.
