Role Summary

Prepare orders for an assigned account base consisting of beer distributors, grocery stores, convenience stores, taverns, and restaurants. Resolve issues by utilizing a consultative approach providing solutions. Build positive relationships with coworkers and clients through conflict resolution and proactive customer support.

Job Function

  • Accurately prepare orders for selected truck routes to be delivered the next day.
  • Load and unload products using a pallet jack or forklift.
  • Complete each pick sheet selected and review for accuracy.
  • Follow instructions provided by warehouse supervisor and assistant warehouse supervisor.
  • Work to maintain a safe, clean working environment.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to operate a pallet jack or forklift is desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Compensation

  • Salary: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour. OT available at the rate of time and a half ($24.00 - $25.50).
  • PTO: Following Year 1 (5 days), Following Year 5 (10 days)
  • Medical / Dental / Vision Insurance: Covered 100% by employer for full-time employees ($6,124.56 / year) and dependents following 90 day probationary period.
  • Short Term Disability: Covered 100% by employer for full-time employees ($207.48 / year) following 90 day probationary period.
  • Retirement Pension Plan: 10% of annual earnings ($3,328.00 – $3,536.00 / year) funded 100% by employer given employee exceeds 1,000+ hours worked during the initial 6 months of given calendar year and is still employed on the final day of the year.
  • Following Paid Holidays off when they fall on a weekday (New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day).
  • Total (Full-Time) Annual Compensation: $42,940.04 - $45,228.04, minimally.

Hours

Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Employees permitted to earn OT by coming to work early to assist with order / delivery preparation.

A warehouse environment where forklifts and motorized hand jacks are present. The environment can be fast paced at times. Uniforms are supplied.
