Experienced Script Editor Needed – Short Film “The Gift” (15 mins)

I’m a producer working on a short film project titled The Gift, currently at the script refinement stage. I’m looking for an experienced script editor to sense check the script ahead of the next draft.

The story is a fun, heartfelt mother-daughter drama with a light touch of fantasy, centred on family, identity and the choices we make.

This is a final pass rather than heavy development - focusing on character motivation, clarity of the narrative, and whether the story is landing as intended. I’m looking for thoughtful, story-led feedback from a fresh pair of eyes.

Ideally you’ll have experience in scripted drama, with a strong instinct for structure, tone and character.

The deliverable is a set of written notes (not necessarily extensive if it’s working well), with the option for a follow-up call.

Timing is flexible over the next couple of weeks.
