Overview:
Learn how to effectively communicate a brand message on social media including best practices for platform-specific posting. Create content using in-store filming and other resources to post to Lowes Foods parent social media channels with a focus on developing content across multiple social platforms.
Responsibilities:
Learn how to create content that drives engagement and follows brand standards.
Understand the backend of social media platforms including reporting and posting best practices.
Throughout the internship the intern will create a variety of content that can be posted on social and various other channels and develop a voice for the brand with the help of other members of the marketing team. The intern will also assess the competitive landscape and provide a recommendation on strategies to grow guest engagement on social media channels.
Qualifications:
Prior experience creating social media content.
Excellent attention to detail.
Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Preferred qualifications:
Experience creating content across all major social media platforms.
Coursework or professional experience in graphic design or video production.
