About Shift FractionalShift Fractional provides experienced, fractional professionals to growing businesses that need high-quality operational support without full-time overhead. We work with founders and leadership teams who value clarity, execution, and thoughtful growth.This role is a general virtual assistant supporting the Co-Founder/CEO of Shift Fractional directly (not one of our clients), with exposure to early-stage business operations, outreach, scheduling, and research.About the RoleWe are looking for a reliable, proactive, and highly communicative Virtual Assistant to support the Co-Founder/CEO with a wide range of day-to-day tasks. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership, and is comfortable working independently once given direction.We will start on an hourly basis, with clear tasks and priorities. As we find a good rhythm together, this role can grow into a consistent weekly or monthly engagement – which could become full-time ultimately.I have listed 10 hours a week here - the fact is, I really don't know yet - it will depend upon how we work together and how much I can give you. I do see this becoming a full role at some point for the right person.Immediate Tasks You May SupportExamples of work we need help with right away include:• Business outreach supporto Working from a provided spreadsheet of companies and contactso Calling US-based businesses to obtain email addresses for specific executiveso Delivering a short, professional message (we will collaborate on the script) – this is not a sales role, simply helping to get contact details for us to reach out too Identifying whether to email the executive directly or an assistant• Lead and prospect researcho Identifying potential new business prospectso Gathering accurate contact and company information• Scheduling supporto Helping coordinate and schedule interviews and callso Managing availability and follow-ups• Vendor researcho Finding qualified freelancers or agencies to:? Design and develop a website on Squarespace? Design a professional company logoo Comparing options and summarizing recommendations• General early-stage business supporto Admin, research, coordination, follow-upso Other tasks as they arise in a growing businessWhat We Are Looking For• Strong written and spoken English• Confident, professional phone manner (for calling US businesses) – an ability to call the US from PH via technology that appears the call is US based• Excellent communication and responsiveness• Comfortable receiving tasks via Slack, email, documents, or chat (we need to align on what’s best between us)• Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable• Able to ask clarifying questions when needed• Comfortable working independently once trained and familiar with the business• Help me grow the business and the role will develop exponentiallyNice to Have (But Not Required)• Experience supporting a CEO or founder• Experience with CRM, spreadsheets, or outreach work• Familiarity with LinkedIn research• Experience working with US-based clientsWorking Style & Expectations• CEO is based in US Eastern Time• Most tasks can be completed during Philippine working hours – unless you want to work adjusted hours• Clear communication is essential• We value initiative, follow-through, and honesty• This is a long-term opportunity for the right personHow to ApplyPlease include:1. A short introduction about yourself and your VA experience2. Your comfort level with US phone-based outreach3. Your internet reliability and headset setup4. Your hourly rate5. Your availability (hours per week to start)6  A Loom Video or a video recording would be great
