Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently load and unload cargo, packages, and freight onto and from aircraft containers, pallets, and trucks.
  • Sort and stage packages according to destination and priority, ensuring proper handling and care of all shipments.
  • Operate various material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and tuggers, after receiving comprehensive training and certification.
  • Scan packages and update tracking information accurately using handheld devices.
  • Inspect freight for damage and verify counts against manifests or shipping documents.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering strictly to all safety protocols and company policies.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth and timely operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support overall warehouse and logistics operations.

Required Skills

  • Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 70 lbs) regularly, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift, and stoop for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • High degree of reliability and punctuality.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or physically demanding role (though not required, it is a plus).
