Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure financial statements accurately represent operational results and company financial position.
- Support management teams with financial analysis for informed decision-making.
- Record, monitor, report, and communicate financial activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Manage product costing, review variances, and communicate findings to business/plant management.
- Conduct reviews of product inventory and fixed assets.
- Provide financial analysis for project studies, options analysis, and benchmarking.
- Facilitate the budget setting process and monthly/quarterly estimates.
- Develop and maintain relationships with various functions and sub-processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration OR relevant military experience at a U.S. E6 or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class, Sergeant ranking or higher.
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience.
- Legal ability to work in Canada (no visa sponsorship/support available).
- CPA designation is preferred but not required.
- Prior experience in cost management or accounting is desirable.
