What You'll Do:

As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with small businesses, understanding their unique challenges and needs, and presenting tailored solutions to help them enhance their online reputation, manage customer feedback, and improve their overall customer experience. You will leverage your strong sales skills, industry knowledge, and the value proposition of Birdeye's platform to drive new business acquisition.

Responsibilities

  • New Business Acquisition: Identify and engage with potential small business clients through various channels such as cold calling, email campaigns, and SDR Sets.. Effectively communicate Birdeye's value proposition and tailor solutions to match the specific needs of each business.
  • Consultative Selling: Conduct thorough needs analysis to understand prospects' pain points and goals. Present Birdeye's platform as a solution to address these pain points, showcasing how our software can enhance their online presence, reputation, and customer interactions.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within small businesses. Act as a trusted advisor, understanding their evolving needs and positioning Birdeye as a long-term partner in their success.
  • Pipeline Management: Manage and maintain a healthy pipeline of leads and opportunities using Salesforce. Consistently update records, track sales activities, and provide accurate sales forecasts to management.
  • Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including onboarding, customer success, and solution engineers, to ensure seamless customer onboarding, implementation, and ongoing support.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of sales experience, with 1+ years of closing experience preferably in SaaS
  • 1+ years of experience conducting online demonstrations
  • Experience closing a high-volume of deals with short sales cycle
  • Ability to partner with Sales Development team to ensure smooth transition through the lead lifecycle
  • Ability to demonstrate previous success: awards, stack-rankings, accomplishments, \"brag book\" etc…
