Our client, a reputable manufacturing firm with a commitment to quality and efficiency, is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee and manage daily production operations. This critical role ensures that manufacturing processes are executed smoothly, safely, and meet all quality standards and production targets. This is an on-site position requiring direct supervision of the production floor.

As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of production line workers, coordinating production schedules, and ensuring the efficient use of resources. Your ability to maintain a safe working environment, implement process improvements, and monitor quality control measures will be paramount. You will work closely with engineering, quality assurance, and maintenance departments to resolve any production-related issues. Your leadership and problem-solving skills will be key to optimizing output and ensuring the timely delivery of products.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and direct the daily activities of production staff on the manufacturing floor.Ensure all production activities adhere to safety regulations and company policies.Monitor production processes to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.Coordinate production schedules to meet demand and delivery timelines.Train and mentor production line workers, providing guidance and feedback.Identify and troubleshoot production issues, implementing corrective actions as needed.Monitor equipment performance and coordinate with maintenance for timely repairs.Manage material flow and inventory on the production floor.Implement process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.Conduct regular performance reviews of production staff.Maintain production records and prepare reports on output, quality, and safety.Collaborate with other departments, including Quality Control, Engineering, and Logistics.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least (Number, e.g., 3-5) years in a supervisory or leadership role.Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety procedures.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.Proficiency in using production scheduling software and ERP systems.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles is a plus.Ability to work flexible hours, including potential shifts and overtime, as required by production demands.A commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.Experience in (Specific Manufacturing Sector, e.g., automotive, electronics, food & beverage) is highly desirable.This position is based in Delhi, Delhi, IN, and requires the selected candidate to be present on-site to effectively supervise production operations.
