Regional Fiduciary Advisor (RFA), Private Banking -
This job is responsible for reviewing and approving potential trustee appointments. Key responsibilities include exercising sound judgment and employing fiduciary expertise and creativity in the independent assessment of trust opportunities to responsibly grow the Bank's trust business. Job expectations include creating and managing bank resources to support fiduciary business, such as suggested language for trusts and wills; guiding and training internal bank partners; and assisting in setting, drafting, and implementing fiduciary policies to ensure regulatory and legal compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Provides fiduciary expertise and creativity in the independent assessment of trust business
- Creates and maintain tools to manage the fiduciary business
- Drafts and implement fiduciary policies across lines of business
- Ensures regulatory and legal compliance with appropriate laws, rules and regulations
- Assists with training on fiduciary issues
Desired Qualifications:
In depth knowledge of the following areas: general fiduciary law and principles, trust, and wealth transfer techniques, and federal and state laws/regulations pertaining to fiduciaries.
5+ years’ experience as a practicing Trusts & Estates lawyer in private practice and/or employed by a Bank, Private Wealth Management firm or Trust Company performing a legal, risk or fiduciary line of business function Experience working with trust officers/fiduciary specialists and making fiduciary related risk-reward decisions Demonstrated ability to intelligently and persuasively articulate positions and influence decision makers and management on all levels as well as COIs and other external partners Technical expertise in areas of fiduciary, planning, tax, regulatory, legal and compliance Strong ability to work in partnership with other functions/roles, including Legal and Risk Keen awareness of when to escalate matters to Legal and/or management Attorney licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (strongly preferred) and BA/ BS (four year undergraduate degree).

Pay and benefits information
Pay range
$138,000.00 - $200,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
Discretionary incentive eligible
This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
