<b>Associate Director, Field Force Effectiveness</b><br><br>This position offers the opportunity to drive operational excellence and sales effectiveness across our Oncology Sales Team. This individual will report to the National Business Director and work in close partnership with the Regional Sales Director to ensure aligned execution. This role requires working with sales leadership, Oncology Key Account Management Team, sales training, marketing, analytics, market research, HR, legal, Compliance and other functions as required to continuously improve sales force effectiveness and operational performance.<br><br><b>A Typical Day Might Look Like This:</b><br><ul><li>Partner with Regional Sales Directors, Oncology and brand teams to set operational strategy in alignment with brand strategy, coordinating with cross-functional team members on integrated planning initiatives.</li><li>Develop and implement sales effectiveness processes and methodologies to enhance Sales performance while collaborating.</li><li>Ensure cross-functional communication and alignment with Key Accounts Team, Field Access and Reimbursement, Trade, Medical and National Accounts on operational processes and capabilities</li><li>Partner with Legal and Compliance on sales process governance, capability frameworks, and operational compliance requirements</li><li>Collaborate with Analytics to establish and monitor sales effectiveness metrics and performance dashboards specific to operational KPIs, ensuring regular distribution to field leadership</li><li>Work with Finance to ensure operational budgets for sales effectiveness tools, training programs, and performance improvement initiatives are properly aligned with strategic priorities and generate reports to monitor budget adherence</li><li>Partner with Commercial Training on operational aspects of Plan of Action methodology, Train the Trainer programs, Career Development pathways, sales skills training, and capability development curriculum</li><li>Act as primary communication liaison between home office operations teams and field sales teams on process improvements and capability development</li><li>Lead implementation and optimization of sales effectiveness tools including Veeva CRM configurations, performance dashboards, and territory management systems</li><li>Manage vendor relationships for operational technology solutions and Sales effectiveness platforms</li></ul><br><br><b>This Position Might Be for You If:</b><br><br>The Associate Director, Field Force Effectiveness must possess expertise in sales operations, process optimization, and data-driven performance management. This role requires strong analytical capabilities to interpret operational metrics and translate insights into actionable improvement plans while demonstrating cross-functional coordination to execute sales effectiveness initiatives. Critical success factors include:<br><ul><li>Confidence and ability to influence senior executives in support of key operational and capability initiatives</li><li>Proven experience in sales operations, field force effectiveness, or commercial operations roles</li><li>Ability to proactively and independently prioritize operational requests and business needs with clear role boundaries</li><li>Strong facilitation skills for cross-functional collaboration (e.g. Finance, Marketing, Sales Analytics, HR, Compliance, Legal, etc.)</li><li>Excellent organizational/coordination capabilities and strong written and oral communication skills</li><li>Ability to develop and leverage internal networks to facilitate execution of operational business requirements</li><li>Experience with CRM systems, sales analytics platforms, sales process optimization, and performance management tools</li></ul><br><br>To be considered for this position, we require a Bachelor's Degree required; MBA preferred. 10+ years of progressive pharmaceutical industry experience with field management and/or home office operations experience. Sales operations, process improvement, or CRM implementation experience preferred. Product launch operations experience a plus. 25% travel including 10%-20% field time with Medical Sales Specialists for operational coaching, capability assessment, and performance optimization.<br><br>Does this sound like you?
