Role and Responsibilities As a Amazon Order Picker at Amazon, you will play a crucial role in ensuring orders are accurately processed and shipped on schedule. This active, hands-on role takes place in a high-energy, fast-moving environment where collaboration and technology drive results. Key responsibilities include: • Receiving and Processing: Unload, inspect, and organize incoming shipments and inventory. • Picking and Packing: Use handheld scanners to select customer orders and pack items securely for delivery. • Shipping: Label, stage, and prepare packages for timely shipment. • Workplace Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times. • Equipment Operation: Safely operate pallet jacks, carts, or forklifts (with certification) and perform necessary safety checks. • Team Collaboration: Coordinate with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals. • Safety and Compliance: Follow Amazon safety procedures, OSHA standards, and PPE requirements.
