About This Role
As a Sr. Engineer III in Manufacturing Sciences, you will be an integral member of the global Manufacturing Sciences team. Your primary focus will be on leading, facilitating, and coordinating biologic molecule technology (tech) transfer activities at our Bio Site in RTP. You will create, drive, and communicate technology transfer deliverables while managing the overall tech transfer schedule and metrics. By utilizing technical rigor, analyzing complex issues and identifying business process optimization opportunities, you will provide technical leadership, strategic insights and direction. Your role also involves communicating transfer plans and risk mitigations to senior leadership, ensuring alignment with departmental priorities. This position is pivotal for driving successful tech transfers, supporting both internal programs and those of our strategic partners, and enhancing the value to our business
What You’ll Do:
Coordinate and lead tech transfer meetings, ensuring effective information flow and decision-making.
Manage activities related to tech transfer, including process/facility fit, manufacturing readiness, and project closeout.
Analyze complex technical data related to the development and transfer of biologic molecules.
Communicate tech transfer updates, risks, and mitigations to multiple levels of leadership.
Ensure adherence to the tech transfer business process, including risk tracking and audit support.
Coordinate reports and data to support CAPAs, deviations, and long-range business decisions.
Provide technical expertise in biopharmaceutical manufacturing and process development.
Support programs as an upstream or downstream SME as needed

Required Skills
Bachelors degree in Engineering or relevant scientific/technical discipline with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience is required OR
Masters degree in Engineering or relevant scientific/technical discipline with a minimum of 6 years of direct experience OR
Ph.D. in Engineering or relevant scientific/technical discipline with a minimum of 4 years of direct experience
Strong foundation in upstream or downstream biologics manufacturing or process development.
Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices.
Ability to communicate and escalate solutions effectively.
Proven leadership skills in managing cross-functional teams.

Additional Information
The base compensation range for this role is: $131,000.00-$175,000.00
Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.
