As the SaaS Operations Director, you’ll lead the transformation of how mission-critical ERP solutions are deployed, secured, and scaled - bridging cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and service excellence. You’ll own infrastructure reliability, cost efficiency, and security across multiple product lines, leading the shift toward fully automated, ephemeral, cloud-native operations spanning AWS and Azure. Responsibilies

  • Lead and mature SaaS Operations function responsible for reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency across all hosted products.
  • Drive execution of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD, and automation-first principles across AWS and Azure.
  • Oversee 24/7 operations readiness, ensuring robust monitoring, observability, and incident management.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Security to deliver secure, compliant, and high-performing environments.
  • Build frameworks for capacity planning, service ownership, and operational maturity (SLOs, SLIs, MTTR, change velocity).
  • Develop operational playbooks and processes to ensure consistency across both multi-tenant and single-tenant environments.
  • Implement cloud platform automation and deployment pipeline design
  • Apply infrastructure cost optimization and performance tracking
  • Security, compliance, and audit preparation in collaboration with InfoSec
  • Conduct post-incident reviews and process improvement initiatives
  • Coach and mentor operational leads and SREs

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • 10+ years in SaaS, Cloud Infrastructure, or DevOps roles
  • 5+ years in senior leadership roles managing global operations or SRE teams
  • Deep experience with cloud operations in AWS and/or Azure (compute, storage, networking, monitoring).
  • Strong background in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, or CloudFormation).
  • Proven track record with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins).
  • Incident management and postmortem processes at scale.
  • Cost optimization and capacity planning across multi-cloud environments.
  • Team leadership in distributed environments with a focus on mentoring and technical depth.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO 27001).
  • Exceptional communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Terraform, GitHub Actions, Azure, AWS, Grafana, Jira.
  • Leadership: Empower, coach, and guide operational teams.
  • Strategic Thinking: Balance long-term transformation with immediate reliability.
  • Execution Focus: Deliver consistently under ambiguity.
  • Collaboration: Work cross-functionally to influence engineering, security, and product priorities.
  • Resilience: Operate effectively under high pressure during incidents.

Nice to have

  • Experience managing hybrid multi-tenant environments.
  • Prior ERP or enterprise SaaS product background.
  • Exposure to observability engineering and FinOps practices.
