About the role: We, at Turing, are looking for experienced DevOps engineers responsible for deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations to meet customer needs, as well as executing and automating operational processes accurately and securely. Job responsibilities - Build and maintain cloud platforms and support applications, demonstrating agile and dynamic software support capabilities - Build a microservices environment to support cutting-edge cloud platforms - Contribute to continuous improvement and continuous delivery while increasing the maturity of DevOps and Agile adoption practices - Get involved in the development and implementation of integrated and automated DevSecOps capability for applications - Assist in the development and maintenance of infrastructure configuration as a code using configuration systems, such as Ansible, Chef, etc. - Participate in requirements analysis, design, and execution, and perform platform development based on Agile methodologies - Focus on improving the application and innovation incessantly - Work effectively in collaboration with other team members to adhere to security and compliance guidelines Job requirements - Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience) - At least 3+ years of experience in DevOps and cloud computing (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers) - Extensive experience in Big Data, Spark, OpenShift, and/or Kubernetes - Expertise in developing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins - Good understanding of Linux internals along with Release Engineering, Artifactory, Nexus, and CI/CD tools, like Jenkins, Travis - Proficient in scripting languages, such as bash/shell and Groovy - Working experience with configuration management tools, such as Ansible, Terraform Puppet, Chef, Salt, etc. - Hands-on experience in networking and network configuration, application performance monitoring, container performance, and security - Fluent in English to communicate effectively - Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones
