Our Software Engineering Industrial Placement The best way to find out if a career at Accenture is right for you is to apply for one of our Industrial Placements. As well as getting a taste of what it’s like to work with us, you’ll gain valuable live project experience and enjoy a competitive pro-rata salary. We offer a choice of 12-month placements from across our Technology business, joining Software Engineering, you’ll get to work with some of the most advanced technologies on the market, develop industry-leading specialist skills and help transform our clients around the world. You’ll start with a formal induction and a four-week training programme where you’ll study technologies including Java, Digital, Dev Ops and testing. We’ll then assign you to a project where you’ll build your skills on the job. By the end of the year, you could be ICTTech-certified – you’ll certainly have gained some valuable experience and hopefully have an offer to join us when you graduate. What we’re looking for You’ll need to demonstrate a real passion for technology, as well as an understanding of how it can be used. You’ll also need to know a thing or two about programming languages. Overall, we’re looking for a willingness to try new things, a passion for self-improvement and a strong work ethic. Ours is an industry that’s driven by client demand. Which means that we have to place people in the industries and geographies where our clients need them most.
